Car starter does not turn the phenomenon, the starter switch is turned on, the starter does not turn.
Failure Analysis:
① lack of battery power or the wires loose connections, terminals dirty resulting in poor contact.
② starter electromagnetic switch coil open circuit or poor contact of contact pads.
③ starting relay contact ablation, the relay coil magnetic circuit or burnout.
④ starter internal armature shaft bending or bearing too tight, rectifiers dirty or ablation, brush wear is too short, not too soft spring contacts, the armature coil or the field coil short circuit or grounding.
⑤ start anti-theft system failure.
Troubleshooting Flowchart:
For starters car anti-theft system, the ignition switch to "ON" position to observe the anti-theft system light is abnormal. If abnormal should troubleshoot anti-theft system, otherwise press the troubleshooting flowchart shown in Figure 2-3 for diagnosis.
