When registering DS708 on our website, please make sure that the serial number and register password that you input are correct. On DS708, you can press on Setup/Help->About to double check the serial number and register password.

Method 1: Updating via DS708:
After registering DS708 on the website successfully, please connect DS708 scanner to Internet via Ethernet connection or WiFi, and then chooseUpdate on the main screen of DS708.

software updates directly on DS708.

The tire pressure warning light blinks for 1 minute and stays on to indicate a tire pressure monitoring system malfunction after driving for about 20 minutes. Autel MaxiDAS DS708  allows users to customize multi-language. But not allow to access different language when using the DS708 scanner. Here is an example of solving language changing problem.

Problem:

After well install Autel DS708 diagnostic software and try to change Autel DS708 language to Spanish, the system displays an error message reading “The language is not authorized”. Later try to change to French, German etc, still invalid.

 

Reason:

Autel DS708 multi-language diagnostic system (English, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese) can only support one language in one device.

How to change your Autel DS708 OBD2 diagnostic scanner to other language?

Please send your DS708 SN (serial number) and language you want before the device shipped to you. If you want to change your language after the package arrived, please again sends the serial number and language to UOBD2.NET customer service.

Then enter the serial number to the official website to check the language version you have downloaded.

NOTE:

After update the DS708 scan tool software, you should set the language to the language before update. Some vehicle model can not displayed in other language will be replaced by English.

The EPC light came on vehicle may cause car violently start shaking. Here is an instruction on reset EPC light and enable Open / Close electric parking brake of Audi A4 with the Autel MaxiDAS DS708 diagnostic scan tool.

Instruction:

Connect the MaxiDAS DS708 scanner with vehicle

Power on the DS708 system

Select vehicle region: European

Select vehicle manufacturer: Audi

Autel MaxiDAS scan tool will read the VIN automatically

Select “Maintenance function” from main function menu

Select “Electronic parking brake (EPB)”

Turn ignition ON (very important)

Start electric parking brake and handbrake programming

Follow these steps to program:

---Start brake pad change (open brakes completely)

---Change brake pads

---End brake pad change (close brakes)

Follow the system prompts

Press “-1-” button to come to “Start brake pad change” program

Then the brakes are fully opened

Wait the brakes to be opened

Registration will fail if the time limit is exceeded for any step. Press OK to proceed.

Press OK to begin the registration process.

The system warns that you have 5 minutes to complete 3 procedures:

—Input each transmitter ID code

—Input next transmitter ID code

—Wait all ID code are registered.

Manually enter the transmitter ID follow the system prompts, and press OK

Step 4 of 4

Input the transmitter ID Code

Total Tires: 4

Register Tires:1

Press OK to input another ID Code.

Enter 4 ID codes one by one until the system will display ID Registration is complete message.

Go back to “Function Menu”, select “Read Codes” and then erase fault codes.

TPMS indicator light has been disabled. The indicator light on dashboard go off.
